Pongal

raw rice 1 cup
moong dal split 1/4 to 1/3 cup
pepper 1 tsp
jeera 1/2 tsp
ginger 1/2 tsp chopped
salt to taste
ghee 4 tbsp
curry leaves few

cook rice and moong dal split.mash it well.heat oil add ginger,pepper,jeera,curry leaves.Pour it over rice,add salt.mix it well.Serve with sambar and chutney or pongal kulambu
