Tips to add vegetable in your kids diet

1.Always make sambar(any dal) and a chutney for idli dosa...

2.Grind carrot,beetroot,blanched palak add this puree to idli, dosa batte.
Add this puree for making chapathi dough.You will get orange,red,green coloured idli,dosa,chapathi.

3.Like that you can add any colour less vegetable to make idli,doas,chapathi.

4.You can make vegetable chutney for plain idli dosa. With any vegetable you can make chutney.

5.Instead of giving lays and bingo give them fried snacks with vegetable and fruits
like bajji,bonda,potato chips,vegetable chips.

6.Cutlets are also good.make cutlets with lot of vegetables.You can make burgers with that.

7.Make dal and vegetable rice for lunch.Children cannot take vegetables out from the rice.

8.For the snacks box, don't give any fried items,biscuits breads, give them only fruits and vegetables.first they will not eat,don't worry.Don't stop giving fruits. after that they will used to that.

9.If you give fruits in the snacks then only they will feel hungry and they will eat the lunch.

10.always make sure that your food contains a pulse ,cereal and vegetables.

Tips to add more fibre in the diet

1.Substitute low fibre food( white bread,white rice,chips,candy)with high fibre
food (brown bread,fruits vegetable,brown rice).

2.Try to eat fresh fruits and vegetable.Cooking vegetable can reduce their fibre content,and skins are good source of fibre.

3.eat hihgh fibre food at every meal.Bran cereal for breakfast is a good start,but try to include some fruits,vegetables whole grains and beans in the diet too.

4.Increase the fibre quantity gradually,drink plenty of water.
